828 mk3 + powercore
is a TC Electronics powercore compact a good addition to an existing 828 MK3 Setup ? your toughts please..
No, 3 reasons why a Powercore is obsolete:
1. Still no Vista drivers
2. A Core2quad from intel is cheaper
3. Still no 100% working Virus plugin
I've been looking at the Powercore myself and above reasons made me decide not to buy one.
I've bought an SSL Duende instead together with an Access Virus Ti Desktop and have never looked back.

got one, came with a serious bump on the back and the upper section not sticked well... returned it on the same day, but had enought time to try it... honestly speaking, the virus didnt really impress me, i saw better vst instruments...but i really liked the quality of the reverbs... my current setup is an XP laptop, but will also need something that will fit on my quadcore main config, which UAD do not offer at the moment (FW), i will think about it again and we will see...
