I'm not a keyboardist, so my comments may not apply, but I REALLY like aftertouch, but I don't have any keyboard "feel" in my past to mess up any existing playing style. I have a Novation ReMOTE keyboard, which seems to be regarded as having some of the better keyboard action for MIDI controllers, so maybe that helps. I think my touch is on the lighter side, and I like having the capability to press harder for some extra expression (I'm a guitarist, if I must confess).
