MME Options in CueMix FX
I had some time to kill so I started going through the different programs I have to see how they would work with my 828mk3. ITunes, Zune, Windows Media Player, Project 5, Kenetic, and none of them really worked unless I checked "Enable full Wave support for legancy (MME) software (Less efficient)" I could then see all my port options in these applications, but would get some snap, crackle and pops, also blown away by the loud volume, CueMix FX controlled nothing. Some of the programs have an ASIO option, but I don't see that with CueMix FX to be able to select or control. The only program I have that allows me full access to the 828mk3 I/O is my Sonar 7 Pro. Not alot considering their product brief an marketing push. Well the drivers seem to have a long way to go followed by their CueMix FX. Mac users got a free verion of AudioDesk, Windows was left with CueMix FX because they said Windows applications would be able to take full advantage of the Audio I/O's. Nice Try!
