Most of us are on 5.13, but a few people stayed at 5.11 due to some issues with certain setups. Is there a specific reason you're at 5.11 vs. 5.13?
I ask, because most of us using BFD2 are doing so in the context of 5.13, so anything we say would be likely to be inaplicable to 5.11.
There are some known issues with the latest upgrade to BFD2 (it loses preset information), but the earlier update from March/April is fine, and a new one is forthcoming. Other than that, I find BFD2 works better than 1.5, in DP 5.13.

I agree. BFD2 and DP 5.13 are doing fine with Tiger.

I have some problems with it.
When I touch any faders in the mixer all FX GUI will disappear.
The FX still works but it just disappears.
I have to click aux1 and aux2 buttons to get it back.
Three days ago the tom sound kept cutting off the tail end.
I could not figure out what's wrong.
So I opened the stand alone and played with it and the tom sound was back to normal.
Otherwise it works fine on my Mac Pro- DP 5.13 - OS 10.4.11.

I did a test of how BFD 2 worked with my G5, dual 2.3 processors, 5.5 GB's of RAM in Digital Performer 5.13, Logic Pro 8, and Ableton Live 5. It worked out by far the best in DP.
The main issue will be you system, in my opinion. BFD is not charitable when it comes to processing power. You'll have to either have a very good computer, or make your system as efficient as possible.
It's also very possible that there are some things about making it work well I don't know. And it does sound great.
I ended up buying a new computer.

Ditto that with G5 5.13 - 10.4.11.Tim wrote:I use it with 5.11 - 10.4.11.
There is an issue with it messing with the GUI that goes away when the BFD plugin window is closed.
Other than that, and the fact that it's a bit of a processor hog, It's great.
I run it mostly standalone now on a second computer (MacPro) at low buffer/latency. I use it as an 'external VI' for DP and play Roland E-drums with it. Great software IMO despite its demands on the system. Even brought old MIDI loops I had back to life.
cheers
