external FX bus, 828 mk3

following the recommendations on http://www.harmony-central.com/articles ... acing_daws, i tried to simply create a hardware fx bus to route signal from daw to my external reverb unit connected in a loop via in/ou 7 & 8 of the 828 mk3.

once i select motu asio in the device selection of the fx bus, and try to select the device port, nothing is showing in device port list!!! when i tried doing it using my stock connexan multimedia asio driver, it worked ! i guess im skipping something really obvious..

got it, in/out 7-8 were already configured as in/out device ports, had to remove them from there first, hope that will help somebody in the future..
