Awesome tech-support!

Post by willith »

This is the second time I've had a problem with my 8pre and where is tech-support to help me? The tech support phone line is busy EVERY SINGLE TIME I CALL- AT ALL TIMES OF THE DAY. How pathetic of a company do you have to be, to not even let your customers wait on hold? No, that's asking too much...we'd rather just NOT talk to you.

And sending e-mails to tech. support? NO RESPONSES. Really, stand-up quality service.

I live in BOSTON, approximately three miles from their location. Can I at least bring in my interface to have someone look at it since I CAN'T EVER GET THROUGH THE ********** TECH. SUPPORT LINE? No..."we can't do that. It'd have to have a work order with it."

KUDOS TO YOU MOTU. Will definitely recommend you to all my friends if they ever feel like being *********** repeatedly.

willith-- watch your language around here or I'll bounce you off the board. If you're unhappy and you want to rant, than have at it, but we don't need graphic references as part of it. I've edited your post.

they really do have the worst tech support of any company ive ever dealt with i couldnt even register my product to recive tech support because i kept getting an auto response email saying my serial number was in use... and i definately entered correct serial and it definately wasnt second hand, the only way to register my product was to use a serial number i pulled out of my arse, will be interesting if i ever have to send it in for repair. after registering my product with a dodge serial i waited 2 weeks for a reply email from tech support that told me nothing i already didnt know/try sorry to jump on the motu tech support band wagon but it really is pathetic an i have dealt with an awfull lot of companies, most you will recive an email reply with in minutes, a day at the very most, eve anna from manly replied to my email with in 30 seconds, i know theyre products cost a little bit more than motu but when you pay 1500$ for an audio interface you expect to be able to get tech support on the phone or email without so much trouble........ they should be paing attention to theyre customers needs, i will be adding my review of my motu 828mk3 to the harmony central user reviews soon, i dont have to much good to say bout em

This seems to be getting to the point where we may have to save MOTU from themselves and stage an intervention.....can someone get Jim Cooper in a room?

i confirm. there is probably worse, but at least guys common, we expect at least a answer within 24 working hours from a tech support... these guys answered within 3 weeks to a simple question, that i actually solved the same day.

It's not an American thing, my friend, but if you want to slagg off me, my country, or my countrymen, then you get the hell off this board before I kick you off. There's nothing that says I have to put up with your rudeness.. WHEREVER you're from.

Dear Mr. Steele

I wasn´t slagging off you, your country or your countrymen. I wouldn´t dare to do so,because i call a fair amount of them my friends. There is just a certain way of sensitivity which is a bit weird to us over here in europe. your reply just proved this to me. If you want to kick me from the board for this remark, well there is nothing i can do about it. it´s just that the people you repeatedly threat to kick of the board weren´t harming anybody nor slagging anybody off. The guy who started this topic didn´t adress anybody in person and simply said that he "wasn´t amused". He just used other words for it. I just made a simple, not so serious remark which definately contained a bit of irony, which some say, americans don´t get ..That I don´t agree on that, goes without saying. you on the other hand seriously accused me of slagging off americans and again threatened to kick me of the board .. Who´s rude here is to be judged by others than me. You for instance, who can kick me of the board is you feel to do so.
It would be the first time for me ever, but i´d still take it with a smile.
Kind Regards

this board has a disclaimer of sorts that says, "we are not motu".

ranting is not a crime but understand it makes you look foolish. what positive purpose does it serve you or others here? freedom of speech is always allowed here no matter which country you hail from or are prejudice against. cursing is not an issue of nationality nor is irony unless it is intended to be. im sure there are real reasons to dislike any country without nitpicking trivialities.

butthurt isnt fun. its just something to get over. like those 'indians' that tossed off tea so many years ago. :)

p.s. back on topic. im sorry motus support has left some unsatisfied, i truly do not know how to remedy that for them.

Yeah I did, Andre. And you maybe didn't read all of the original post, but maybe in Europe references to being anally raped by a company on a bulletin board is just standard fare, but frankly I don't base on you over German stereotypes, so maybe you should just lay off the American stereotypes. What do you say, fair? You were the one who injected "You Americans..." into the conversation.

Excuse me, YOU CONDESCENDING {censored}. It sounds like I'm not the only one here who is pissed off. You think ranting makes us look foolish? We're BUTT-HURT? That's nothing but a cop-out using leetspeak from internetz dipshits such as yourself. According to your moronic logic, NOBODY can EVER be pissed off at ANY TIME, EVER.
I'm so tired of morons such as yourself playing the "butt-hurt" card.

Ohhh ho ho ho. As for you my friend- I don't care whether or not "we are not MOTU"- you are STRONGLY AFFILIATED WITH THEM. You can't just kick people off a board because they are PISSED OFF ABOUT THE EXTREME LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I will take this issue (you) up with MOTU- in hopes that they may distance themselves from you. This is absolutely pathetic.

Wow, you started the board. Congratulations. Now what? Nobody can talk bad about MOTU or say "naughty words"? What else? Can't say anything bad about you? Only PRAISE is allowed? Talk about serious power-struggle issues...if ANYONE here is butt-hurt, it is most definitely YOU.

Post Script: Sorry I couldn't edit the word "dipshit" for you above- it just didn't seem right. Do what you will....

In other news, I FINALLY got a response from MOTU tech support (supposedly) only everytime I click on the link and sign in I get a "SITE ERROR" message.

Thanks again MOTU! You make life so much easier!
