DP6 + EuCon?

Anyone know anything about Euphonix MC Mix/Control compatibility for DP6?

Euphonix website just says "EuCon support coming"

Well not so fast.....they hinted it would be part of DP6, however I don't think they said that was official.... but if it's not, it won't be too far away.

The review in the current "Audio Technology" states: "Digital Performer is slated for Eucon support in version 6"

This may be based on the info Brad is talking about though.

I guess we'll see.

I'm counting on full Eucon support. We have gone full Euphonix artist series in the studio and the 'Logic guys' are laughing while I'm still in the corner using mouse & keyboard. I can't eve use the Mackie control protocol because the AudioMIDI setup keeps crashing on the user account. I was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with that with DP6 but it looks like I may.

Anyone have an update? Curious if EuCon is actually in DP6 or if it is still just MCU emulation?

It's not listed as an option in the Control Surfaces drop-down menu. Sorry.

Yes Brad, inquiring minds (and MC Artist owners) want to know!

FWIW, MOTU informed me via email in February that Eucon would for sure be supported in the upcoming DP6 release...

It was cold outside then.. now it's hot.

how is it working in HUI emulation?

I am considering the jump - want to get more faders!

do the LED look good?

anyone using with live or reason? how is this ?
