I recently upgraded my motherboard and CPU to a Intel DG965SS with a Q6600 Quad core. Upon putting in the 424x card and turning on the 2408 I get no interfaces listed in the setup console and no channels show. There are no channels in Cue Mix either as well as no channel sliders or buttons. I sent in a Tech Link but I haven't gotten an answer yet. Before I go through the motions of pulling the card in and out and removing and reinstalling the software, does anyone have a fix?
Found the problem. The onboard IDT HD audio was somehow blocking the Motu drivers. I disabled the onboard audio and rebooted and the channels and interface lists came up in the setup console allowing me to configure. Sonar 7 now sees the channels and ASIO is useable. There is apparent conflict with the IDT audio, if you leave it disabled you will get a still running message at shutdown- IDT systray etc.- and have to end now manually. It was neccessary to enable IDT and turn off all functions in their control panel to stop the message from appearing. Seems to be working right now with Motu PCI staying on in the Sounds and audio devices inputs and outputs.
