Is DP6 OK w/ Radikal SAC 2.2 Control Surface?

Post by dbender »

Can some of our cutting edge brothers let us know if DP 6 still supports the Radikal SAC 2.2 Control Surface?

-- If you have a Radikal SAC 2.2 Control Surface, and can use it all ok with DP 6, or have problems, please let us know, and let us know which computer and Mac OS you're using, ok?

-- Or, even if you don't have it, after installing DP 6, could you please at least check the MOTU driver file for the Radical SAC 2.2, located at

Macintosh HD:Library:Audio:Plug-Ins:MOTU Control Surface:SAC DP Driver.bundle

and do a Get Info on it, and please let us know the Creation Date, Modification Date, and Version (I'm using DP 5.13, and with that install, this info for this control surface driver file is Created = April 6, 2007, Modif = 5/4/07, Version = “SAC DP Driver 3.2.1 (22701)”)

Thank you!! :D

Thank you very much! This seems to suggest that MOTU did update the driver to work with DP 6 (version is the same, but higher build number, and the recent Creation Date). The proof will be in the pudding, i.e., people who actually can use the SAC with DP 6 -- anyone??

Hi,

I don't have DP6 yet, but I will in a few weeks. I use the SAC on a daily basis and I am also hoping for no problems.

If I get DP6 before you do, I will post to let you know!

I'm scheduled to receive DP 6 tomorrow and will be using it with my SAC-2K.

Thanks for letting us know, guys! Looking forward to your hopefully positive reports that our SAC's still work in DP6 (in both Tiger and Leopard). Thanks!
