Thanks MOTU and MagicD for DP6!

Post by Eleventh Hour Sound »

Hey MagicD,
Thanks to you and MOTU for being a company that is still here, still progressing, and listening to your users.

You've got a lot of faithful users here and we can't wait to get our hands on DP6... It's gonna be like Christmas in July!

Thanks James for running this great site that keeps us all together through thick and thin.

Thanks again!

60+ views and no replies?

I haven't even gotten my UPS notice for DP6 yet, but there's always room for gratitude!

Thanks MOTU...

Thanks to Dave and James for everything.

It is pretty damn cool to have a place like this to get help and share ideas about such a fantastic product. Amazing that we can communicate about these things as they are happening, right down to when UPS knocks on our doors. Back in the old days of StudioVision Pro (and Atari ST before that) there was nothing like this to help you resolve issues when you had them... you were fending for yourself and unaware of what problems or solutions other users might have.

So this is really rather incredible. James is one hell of a fellow to have taken this on. And thankfully, it looks like MOTU plans to stick around and keep improving and updating their products. Life is good.

Thank you indeed! :P

Yes, thanks!
This forum is truly unique. Most other seem to turn to sandbox quarrells/boasting games after the third post in a topic. Here it's always friendly and helpful!
And what would I do without DP? Tried Logic for a while and just plain hate it. And ProTools LE seems a bit... er... Limited. And I'd rather go back to a 4-track casette porta than use Cubase again ;-)

cheers!
