error message on 828 Mk2

My 828 Mk2 is now working fine (the audio) but I have some gibberish on the LCD display and the faders don't display. I get this instead:

ecrouS kcol
niaGain

Anyone see this one before?
Windows XP pro, SP2, Core 2 Quad 6600, 3 gig ram, Sonar 7.2.

What are the procedures for Factory Defaults Reset? Have you tried that?

I reloaded the factory 828 Mk2 settings with no fix, reloaded driver no fix.
It functions fine even with the weird error, the main problem that occurs is a random white noise through the audio even when I'm not playing any audio files.
Windows XP pro, SP2, Core 2 Quad 6600, 3 gig ram, Sonar 7.2.
