Almost there…

Post by mrazor51 »

I could really use either: an explanation of the “bounce” function/features on the 2408 MK 1 or a photo copy/pdf/clay tablet of the manual pages explaining it.
My issues using the MK1 along with an 828MK 2 seem to revolve around “bounce”

Thank you

Let me rephrase

First, thanks for taking the time to respond.
I'm using an 828 MKII along with a 2408 MKI (no pci card, just as an additional I/O).
The 828 uses the 2408 as an ADAT source, and there fore “sees” the audio going to and coming from the 2408 (indicated by the ADAT “in/out’” lights on the 828.
My dilemma comes as the audio that utilizes the 2408 is reverb in/out from external hardware. It seems that I'm only able to get the audio properly routed back into the 828 if I set the “bounce” on the 2408 to a different pair, lest I get feedback/combing.

I don't know if this is complex/obscure or even pointless, but since I don't have the manual and I'm not interested in shelling out $20 to MOTU for another one, I was hoping someone out there would go “ah ha” I know what he means, here's how to fix it”.

So, thanks again
