hi i have a problem

ok so i ordered this computer from musicxpc

with a motu 828 mk3

and at first it crashed a bunch when installing then it wouldnt work at all it kept saying that it wasnt working properly then i got past that and now cuemix wont open up but i can get the audio console working but it goes slowly and now im going sorta crazy can any one help me

ok i have installed and reinstalled the softeware this doesnt seem to make of a difference in fact everytime i do this it just gets worse and worse

i had heard that certin motherboards would work with the 828 is this true and if so which ones

i put in the update but it keeps asking me to install new drivers from windows

please any help would be awsome

ok so when i try to open cuemix i get

no motu audio devices detected

or

c:\program files\motu\audio\cuemixfx.exe this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect reinstalling the application may fix this problem

then there is the audio console

no motu audio device could be found make sure your motu audio device is connected powered on and the drivers are installed

i have tried every combo of not installing the drivers that windows wants me to install to installing them i cant figure this out

please help

I can tell you that pc should handle the MOTU fine, as I just built one for myself last month. It looks like its built off the Shuttle SD32G2 which is what I have, and that motherboard works great for me. All I can suggest is either you have a bad firewire cable, or you have some driver conflict which might benefit from a fresh install of windows. Good luck!

p.s. if you go to newegg.com you can built a higher spec'ed machine for half price of what you paid thru Music123

ok now i got sound but cuemix wont come up or audition they just seem to freeze at the start sceens any ideas
