Have you ever seen two motorists, both inside their own cars, get into an argument?

Hmmm... good analogy. Let's watch the instant replay:

I was stopped and waved the other guy on with a friendly gesture that there might be a road hazard ahead:

Insulting the members here you might get away with. Insulting the host is where you may want to tread a little more lightly.
Then he gave my the bird:

All downhill from there. I agree. A childish exercise at best. My half-bad and I'm big enough to admit it.

And you, bOing???

Okay bOing...

This is the part where you make a non-sarcastic apology to MLC and then we all put smiles on our faces and forget this ever happened. :-)

Zed, I apologized to the one person who deserved it.
Manusound, you are absolutely right. My fault. I'm sorry. I failed to read all previous 12 pages of the post so I was not aware of how you were referring to "bata testers"[sic] (also a shoe company, you know!)
MLC came after me on page 14. rather than "waving me to pass" he tried to tell the teacher on me about what I'd said. Like "Nelly" on The Little House On The Prairie.

Prior to that I was a bit jolted by James's comment but that was not MLC business or place to get in the way.

I think that's as enlightened as I can be at this moment without giving up Tibet.

Man, you live in a dream world. BTW, I am a moderator on this site. Granted, in one section only, but still a moderator. And I wasn't "telling on you" as James is certainly smart enough to follow his own posts. It really was a friendly message as you were starting down a slippery slope.

But your right about one thing: I shouldn't have said anything and wasted everyone else's time with your childish reaction.

I will waste no more time with you on this or anything else.

Good luck, eh?

Geez... this is getting silly. First of all, boing, I don't know what I said that you found jolting, but I think it's time for everyone to let it go and stop trying to get the last word in. This back and forth is a huge waste of time, so everyone move on already.

I agree James. No true progress is being made here and it probably is upsetting a few people - and shocking a few lurkers with what they're witnessing.

As for the "jolt", I was referring to that shot about me dragging on the "boy's club mentality" with that beautiful albeit inappropriate image of the vag. I just thought you were being a little short with me.

I also realize that the more I post here, the less I'm actually working with DP. That can't be right.

So yeah, I'm ready to move on.

The shot was deserved. I asked for this to stop, and you followed with a comment that I felt was inappropriate. And yet you continue by referring to the "vag" just now? Indeed who is shocking the lurkers? I'm not going to argue with you any more. Drop it.

Bookended between Beethoven and a Fender bass. How cool is that! :)

(Um... that is a Fender bass, isn't it? The pick ups don't look right.)
