CuemixFX as VST plugin

Why does MOTU not install some VST plugins with it's CuemixFX panel.
it would be great if you could use the HW FX of the 828 mkIII in Cubase 4 as inserts in the output pairs. saves the hassle of switching between apps and saving your snapshots for each song outside Cubase.

On a seperate note, Is there also a way to gang the sliders in CuemixFX to the sliders in Cubase?

Hmmm, interesting thought. Is it possible to do this via the "Return Assign" input? (i.e. in the MOTU configuration window)

Speaking of VST plugins, have you heard of SM Pro Audio's new V-Box? Don't know if it's available yet, but you can see a preview on their website. . .

I really don't understand why VST plugins are not included. Would have made this unit act perfect as an 8 subgroup Compressor/EQ/Reverb effects box
