It will be great Al Di Meola has been one of my Guitar heroes not to mention the rest of them.
I grew up with the Jazz fusion stuff.
Al Di Meola... Jazz Fusion or Progrock? Or... "what's the ******** difference?"

I grew up on fusion myself. But I've just never been able to really pin down the boundary between progrock and fusion. Mahavishnu, for instance, or Dixie Dregs, or King Crimson, for that matter.

No kidding. I opened this with my 11 year old daughter standing just behind me. Luckily I was able to close the browser just as her head was turning.
Don't be putting up porn like that without some kind of disclaimer. It's not cool.

I'm relieved about the DP6 announcement, but Spikey, I think you moved that bat too far in your avatar. Perhaps more toward the lower sternum? Just a thought.

But yes, an announcement about DP7 would be nice. In the meantime...I'd better fill in that form.

Al Di Meola? What's wrong with Bartok? :)

NSFW Definition
The definition of NSFW is "Not Safe For Work"

Found that online. My definition isn't as clean....

is DP6 Universal Binary ?

Post by manusound »

Greetings for all the DP6's beta users ( i dont mind be one too)

I have read the specs for the new DP6 but, there is something that is not very clear for me :

is DP6 universal binary application like DP5 ? (meaning that it runs natively on either PowerPC or Intel Macs).

Im asking this because ive got a PB g4 with Tiger runing DP 4.61 and i really want to upgrade to this very wonderfull version. I know its time to upgrade for a Macbook intel-based but money will come after Sept!.

Thanks

One question I have. Some of the DP6 marketing says that DP6 how has AU instruments sample accurate. Were they not before??!?!?!

Also one question I have about this pre-rendering... Let's say I have some MIDI tracks going to one instrument and I am also controlling the same instrument instance with my MIDI controller during playback. The MIDI tracks can be pre-rendered but the realtime control can't. What happens?

Not cool at all. This *is* a PG rated board hopefully. Please... don't do that again.
