which application for patch/MIDI editing/librarian?

Post by jeff sanders »

hi all,
im a roland handsonic user and have been dabbling with preset factory patches for the most part. i realize that editing them can customize and improve my interaction with the unit. my garageband allows me to rearrange things but i cant export them back into my handsonic or even save the few patches i have altered in case i screw up and lose them. one forum suggested emagic. it led me to apple site and said discontinued so i asked in the garageband forum for answers but i might as well of asked, "who would like a case of hiv?" cause noone even responded. i own a zendrum and the zendrum forum also treated me as a leper colony escapee when i posted inquiry in their forums. (its just a cold sore... really!) lol

im on an imac, tiger osx. id like to at least save my handsonics settings in a file that i could reload should things go goofy. ideally id like to edit MIDI and load it into my handsonics sequencer plus see and edit a patches settings in a large screen rather than 2 lines at a time like the little led screen it has is limited to.

any suggestions very welcome. i will be happy to share my files completely once i figure out how.

p.s. thats not a threat :)
