right click on word give you the option to look up in dictionary or search in google, at least in safari.

I miss out on a lot of those left click/right click things 'cause I use a mighty mouse and therefore the happy accidents don't happen as much.

EDIT: If you highlight a word first, its correct spelling as well as similar words appear when you control (right?) click it.
Select the correct spelling in the menu and it replaces your handiwork. :D
