5.1 Playback under Windows XP

Hi everyone,

I got in touch with the 828mkII interface to use for multi channel playback. I'm trying to build a gui for playing back 6-channel-wave files. Therefore I'm using DirectSound. If I get it right, I need a multichannel mme driver to play back 6-channel-waves.

The 828mkII outputs appear only as stereo pairs under windows. Is there another driver that will allow multi-channel playback? or do you know another solution?

Sorry, I'm quite new to this and I'm thankful for any kind of help or advice...
