I would love to mix some good soulmusic. If you have the possiblility to make a omf or DP session avialable on a ftp server. it might be the best way to exchange the stuff.

First check me and my studio out on my homepage.
I might be interesting in doing the job...
I mix 40 channels analog on my great sounding AMEK BIG 44 console with DP.
The great story of my Amek console is that is was bought brand new by a swedish producer producing and writing for Madonna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Simpson, Celine Dione, Ronan Keating a.o.. I bought it from the hot shot producer himself. He bought it brand new and had it for about ten years (that´s when I came in) He´d upgraded to a Euphonix console. And I got his analog hit machine ;)

I do a great deal of gospel, R&B, rock, contemporary Christian and other beat-oriented music. I am currently mixing a tribute concert for EARTH WIND & FIRE as well as LUTHER VANDROSS. I'm tracking a new concert at the end of this month that is a tribute to Gladys Night and the Temptations

Here's a couple of samples from a live concert I tracked if you're interested..... These are about 60-70-tracks of audio mixed in ProToolsHD. I have an insane list of TDM plugins to choose from for the project.

Hey Brad,

i like your work. In my opinion it has slightly to much transients and have you checked it at a mastering place with a sub? it is a little bit boomy in the low end.

But beside that wow. The brass section sound tremendous and i like your balance between drums and percussion. Did you use section mics for the choir? It is really powerful. maybe a little bit narrow sometimes.

Maybe not the right place to post this, anyway good job :)

Thanks, well there was a slight problem in this mix..... I moved into my new studio and used this project to train my ears. I started the mixing on a pair of ADAM S1A's with a Sub, I later replaced those for the JBL LSR6328's so there is another wrench thrown in. Well in another mix I've been working on, I found out I was grossly over-estimating the bass response in my room and therefore my individual tracks just weren't there. SO, I made up for it at mixdown. Now, new projects I"m working on are coming out much better---but after several months on this one, I don't care...I'M DONE! 8)
Thank you,
Brad Lyons

I'd be interested in submitting a really ordinary mix and ripping off any cool musical ideas for use in my own work... sorry, only joking... carry on
Lots of stuff and a recently acquired ability to stop buying
