MOTU, if you don't help us out with DP6 soon, we'll be reduced to posting threads about maggots, debating laundry detergents and discussing whether or not carrots last longer than lemons in the fridge.

We Unicorns need fodder, and the most desirable fodder, as everyone knows, comes straight from the hands of the Gods of MOTU.

HELP!!

This is getting ridiculous...

Last night I dreamt that DP6 was delievered by Aliens on top of a hill. They unveiled the new logo which had 2 horns above the DP, then they were hunted down by 40's film noirish detectives.

First thing i did when I got up tis morning was check the motu site and look around the house for little green men from the planet DP.

Um Outside of looking for the green men, the rest of this post is err, umm true.

LOL! Good one, Tom.

Frodo, I think it apposite that you should remind us of Energizer-Bunny status.
Lucky MOTU. Imagine only having to write software for Energizer Bunnies?
You could hold out on releases... forever!

OK, let's not go there. :?

I can not remeber MOTU ever releasing DP when they said they would.

Um good point. Although DP 5 wasn't this late.

I mean 1st quarter way gone now.

They must have some good reasons and although I'm hanging for it it when they release it, it is stable and fast I'll be a VERY happy camper.

If it isn't

 :? :( :?: :?: :?:

Hy hopes of extra plugs/VIs grow every day it's delayed.

I mean, the market would expect additional features in light of the delay, wouldn't it?
It's just common business sense, and also important in maintaining the impression that MOTU delivers, IMHO.

There's an old saying designed to facilitate the strengthening of faith and patience:
Delay doesn't mean denial.
Let's hope that in this case this spiritual truth holds true. :D

I'm personally very concerned. It says to me that they've hit some nasty snags that are taking a lot of time to chase down.

Which means more bugs for us all to contend with. Yay.

Then again, Digi *just* came out with "pre-release" versions of Leopard compatible versions of PT. So everyone is dragging their feet a bit these days, it seems.
