MOTU 828 MK II - Firewire ports

Hi Guys, Have a quick few questions about my MOTU 828 MK II Firewire.

I can see that there are 2 firewire ports in my MOTU 828 MK II.

But I am getting curious to know in what situations can I use the second fire wire port ?

I know I can daisy chain multiple MOTU firewire interfaces..but other than that what are the other uses?

Can I connect the second Firewire output to another PC and just use the same Audio interface for two PCs at the same time?
