Thank you for the tip, Mark.
It's mainly just the videos on Utoob and the like that bring me undone.
It was an easy fix - I just don't go there anymore.
Whilst I'm sure Camino (and Firefox et al) are good browsers, I'm doing my very best to stick to Apple's default apps.
I run a MAME shell, a bunch of screensavers (which are set to "never" - go figure!) and MOTU software; that's about it.
Heck, I even only use Apple's built-in CD/DVD burning features.
I'm slowly and reluctantly starting to admit to myself that I'm slipping a little more quickly of late.
Autoimmune symptoms are accelerating and almost everything seems to be getting more complicated; I'm craving simplicity more than ever.
Bottom line for me is unchanged: The sooner DP takes care of all my VI and effect/emulation needs, the sooner I'll feel like I'm getting my mind back.
Honestly, if it doesn't happen by, say, the end of this year, I may be forced to do the unthinkable - something I've never done before - and switch allegiance to L... L... L... I can't even say it. You know, the "L" word.

To be clear, I could easily have justified saying this many, many years ago as I worried about whether I'd be making music before I died or not.
This year, however, I've little room left to move.
No matter - I'm a MOTU die-hard, so if I die, at least I know it'll be hard.
Bruce Willis would be proud.

Err I hate to say this BUT.... I've been using Logic 8 for the last few days (my puter went Very strange loooooong story) on my wifes puter and I have to admit, It's not without it's charm.
Now for audio editing DP wins HANDS down and for ease of use DP WINS But the VI's in logic are very useable and I can see a time where I use both quite a lot.
But the hidden gem of gems in logic is Waveburner, an awesome piece of mastering software. I am quite the fan believe me.
I had to master an EP for a client recently (I am NO mastering DUDE) but it made it so easy...
Ok back to the goodness of DP 6, my first true digital love.

Well, it's a subject our very own billf, multiple winner of the Grand Poobah of Pooparazzi Award™, should look into and repoop on, IMHO.
I'll not give anything away for now in case Billy decides to make this one his pisstule of resistance.
You could be onto something there though, Mark.
In the meantime, we'll hopefully be able to play with DP6.
