I have been setting up a new project to use as a template with BFD2. basically I have a BFD2 instrument instance and then 6 separate aux channels, 1 for each drum. I setup the audio input of each aux to the appropriate BFD output at the bottom of the mixer. then I save the project.
when I reopen it all of the BFD aux inputs are changed to Reason instruments! I own Reason 4, but there is no Reason instrument set up in this project. I go to the Bundles Instrument window & I see Reason channels 1-64 and then the BFD channels. as far as I can tell there is no rational for the Reason channels to appear at all. while I can and will obviously have to keep resetting the channel assignments every time I want to use BFD, it is a major hassle to do every single time.
this seems to be a known issue on UnicornNation forum. I need a fix or workaround...

also, other users have reported this and it is apparently NOT particular to BFD or to Reason and has been in DP since version 4! will this be addressed in V6?

Anyone else getting confused by how this thread is proceeding? I'm not sure who's problem is being addressed here, climber (who started the thread) or acidrecords.
As for the BFD and Reason issue, there was a thread on here recently that addressed this so you may want to do a search. I use neither, so I cannot help that.
my only problem is, i need support from motu experts and they are real slow in supporting me. only they can help me, cause they coded there hard&sw.
(it`s regarding a ressource allocation problem...)
i`m getting angry... 10days without any response, or better status: unread > that suxx

Can you not get through to them over the phone at all?
Thank you,

the original reason for the thread was to point to a problem with MOTU support, not to address a specific issue.

that was probably my thread. someone provided me with a workaround. however the bug/problem still exists & I want to know that MOTU knows & find out if it is being addressed. I was quite surprised to find that they aren't even reading the TechLinks & wanted others to know.
