4.6 Tiger to DP6 Leopard am I in trouble???

Post by rjulian »

Ok,

So I have been working on my old powerbook running DP 4.6 on Tiger, but now I finally bought a new IMACs which is running Leopard.
Im waiting for the new DP6 to uprgade, but how the hell am I going to do this??

Do I install 4.6 on the IMAC and then buy the upgrade?
Will I even be able to install 4.6?

could someone please help me out?

I know DP6 is not out yet, but trust me, I want to get it as soon as it comes out !!

You need to upgrade to 5.13. That is the only version of DP that will reliably run in Leopard.

Call MOTU sales or your dealer. Otherwise, you'll have to keep working on the old machine.

Also, as I understand it if you buy the 5.13 upgrade at this point you will get a free DP6 upgrade when it comes out, so there's no financial advantage to waiting.

And, you will have one less manual as a sound barrier!
Success is just one more plugin away! And happiness is as close as your next upgrade.
