Hi Everyone,
I was working on Ableton live then exit and swith to cubase, I lost sound, I restarted the computer ( macbook pro 2.44 4gig) and I had sound again under cubase, then I swithc to live and lost sound again.
So I did a restart and that was it , motu lost sound and no inputs either. i updated the firmware wich was up to date by the way and nothing.
Both cubase 4 and live 7 see the driver and they work as if the card was working perfectly.
This are the following things I notice on the card display:
Meter 44 flashing flashing.
When used with Ableton live a Letter M appeers bouncing on channels 6-7-8.
Please help.
HELP PLEASE! Motu Ultralite no output sound

Same here.
I didn't find a solution yet and the lord knows i tried.
I am seriously considering to get an RME card instead. Last thing i will try before doing that is to get an FireWire ExpressCard.
Sniff
..
After spending several thousands on software, computer, soundcard, monitors and harddrives, i am left with a messed up unreliables system and soundcard.
This is really sad.
Back to the BOSS SP-505. It was the cheapest of all gear and never, ever let me down.
Oh, by the way; you can get output back temporarily by changing the smaple rate, but that is not a real solution in my case, since the problem repeats itself within a few minutes or hours at moist.
