828MK3 trying to route audio channels

Post by SeeGhost »

Hi All, finally got my 828MKIII up and running,

I am Using Cubase 4,

I can see the main output channel in the Cuemix software, but when I try to route say an audio track into one of the channels in cuemix e.g Analogue 1-2 it does not seem to show up any signals at all,

Could some one give me a bit of a check list to see if I have missed anything

Basically I created new output channels in cuebase Analogue 1-2

sent the audio outputs in cubase in that direction

Then check cuemix to see if there is any signal,

I can see the Main output but still not routing through the selected Analogue 1-2 channel that I routed it to

I could be doing something wrong... any ideas ??

question,

How are the outputs in the cuemix console set up?

I can't seems to route any audio in them from cubase?

I tried everything from the VST connections panel routed everything to chanel Output's 1 & 2 nothing seems to be going through it, why is this ??

Doesnt seem like an easy thing to do, I tied bussing and creating outputs to the cumix mixer panel, but ••••... I have been messing with this thing for days and its doing my head in... has anyone in here got Cuebase 4 with the 828mk3?

1) Are you getting input signals on any channels in Cuemix?

2) If so, then you need to route those inputs to a output bus in Cuemix, and you do that under the "Mixes" tab (not "Outputs").

3) Are you getting input signals on any channels in Cubase?

4) If so, then you do the same thing in Cubase: route those inputs to an out bus. On my version (SE) I do that via the VST Outputs under the "Devices" tab.
