Hi,
after updating the firmware this problem is reduced, but still there: on the headphones output is a sinewave tone going on in the background, very low - yet irritating. Every other in- and outputs works like a charm, btw! I asked Motu tech support about this, they suggested to switch off, then on, the adat in- and outputs. This didn´t work. Anyone else experienced this?

and I´ve updated the firmware to 1.05. I´ve got this problem also when I run it standalone mode. This sinewave tone is almost inaudible, but builds up when recording more tracks onto my daw (ie the the "tone" leaks into the inputs). Damn it - bought through a guy, who bought from the US. Hopefully it will be resolved through updates, otherwise..

There you go. Thanks for the response!sustainiac wrote:I believe the "noisy Headphone Out is a known issue with the 828MK3.
I think I´m being a little an-l about this. For example, if I monitor every analog input and then record them, I hear this sinewave tone actually recorded on the tracks, buried within the "ususal" noise. BUT, only audible when my monitors are cranked and there is no music "in the way", so to say.
The problem actually got a bit better when I updated the firmware, which makes me hopeful this is solveable problem for my unit.
Anyone else experiencing this bug? Otherwise, I actually dig this piece o´cr...
