When I originally installed DP5.0, the software would not accept my keycode. I eventually fixed this by installing the program from different admin account on the machine.
Well, I was running into some weird CPU performance issues, so I decided to download the 5.12 and 5.13 updates. Well, they installed fine, but now they are prompting me for the keycode again, and I am having the same problem with it not being accepted. I have tried repairing permissions and I attempted to trash DP's auth. file but it would not allow me to (it made the system noise when I dragged it to the trash as if it had worked, but the file did not disappear from the folder
) Now, I'm not a very smart fellow, and it was 95 degrees here today which boiled this pasty whit kid's brain cells, so I can't think of anything else to try in order to get this to work again.I am currently locked out of ALL versions of DP, which is absolutely killing my productivity.
Can anyone offer some help or a kind word? I get so cranky when it's hot out!
