That picture of the host card is exactly what I got for My G5 with the Avid /Magma 7 slot chassis . Wish I would have seen that first because some sellers are vague about what they have. Unfortunately the the first SBS chassis I got on ebay was cheap $120 but had the old style pci card pins with a long row and short row. That one would only fit my G4 but not my G5 and I t was impossible to find a compatible replacement host card for these older units.l So make sure if you get one on ebay it comes with all cards and cables. I ended up paying twice as much for the second Avid chassis but it is working fine with 3 UADs and a 4th is on the way.

That is good to know about those replacement fans as the Avid ichassiss a bit noisy and I have it in the next room on the other side of my rack which is open on both sides in the wall.
