Gershwin's Rialto Ripples played on EWQL Bechstein

Post by jcfelice88keys »

Hello Everyone,

The East West Quantum Leap Pianos website has uploaded one more of my piano performances, which was created using DP5 as a tape recorder. The current piece is found as the third entry from the top of the Bechstein demo, entitled Rialto Ripples, a kind of piano rag written by George Gershwin. Those readers who remember the Ernie Kovacs television show in the late 1950's and early 1960's will recognize this as the theme song to the show.

This particular demo was made using the Bechstein piano, and was captured using the "player's" microphone perspective. The PLAY sample engine contains a convolution reverb; this was used in place of my normal choice, Altiverb6. Enjoy.

Cheers,
