I'm soon gonna work on some DP mixes in a studio which has an SSL AWS900 board.
They tell me it acts as a wonderful front-end interface to PT and LOGIC thru the HUI protocol but they don't know about DP.
I tried to find some info on the subject but so far nothing.
AFAIK it's only a stream of MIDI data, right? So it should be no problem, but please chime in if you've had any DP/HUI/board experience: fader moves, automation, interaction with plugins, is it hard to set up and is it working correctly?
TIA
Seb

You are completely wrong. DP has supported HUI devices for a very long time. It also supports Mackie Control Universal, Radikal SAC, and most devices that can emulate either MCU or HUI.kassonica wrote:I could be wrong on this (I hope) But I don't think DP5 supports HUI and i think thats one of the things there are fixing/upgrading in 6
