LAME

I've installed LAME on several online computers and it's easy enough. I'm trying it a computer that's not online and it's just not working. Does anyone know if LAME requires some sort of online verification? Obviously, you don't have to type anything in, but I thought there something might be going on in the background...

Hi

I just today converted SD2 files to MP3s in DP5 with LAME and I was not online.
It worked OK so I don‘t think there is anything going on in the background or something.

No online verification needed for the LAME that I know.

LAME is open source so NO registration is needed.
