I'm working on 5 MIDI files from a show producer and did not do the sequences. My job is to take his GM stuff and run it through better VI's including Mach Five (1), for recording the vocals soon to the tracks.
Everything's working pretty well, except he has a ride cymbal pattern (jazzy swing) going occasionally.
The cymbals will only play for the duration of his hit (like an eight note [240 ticks], only sounds for that duration)...I know there's a way to tell Mach Five to let the cymbal keep on ringing (without physically going in and editing every one), but I can't find it via a search here or in the Mach Five (1) manual.
I know how to get the open hat to shut off when another hat is triggered, but I'm struggling with these choppy ride cymbals.
What am I missing?

Thanks!
Buzz
P.S. I could switch to BFD if need be for the cymbals, but I'd like to know how to get this done within Mach Five.
EDIT: I think I found it...if you select a particular sample, and raise the D S and R faders within the Amp (and Pan) envelope generator, that seems to eliminate the cut-off problem.
