828 mkII firewire 400 or 800 ??

iMac intel...two firewire ins....800 and 400

if I use the 800 port ....is best ???
The 828 mkII support 800 firewire ???
is just a diferent firewire cable only???

400 works fine. Plenty of bandwidth. 400 supports up to 4 motu interfaces in a daisy chain...and a hard drive on the end.

far as i know it is only capable of 400

it can of course be connected to an 800 input, but that will not increase or change the transfer rate
