MOTU 828 mk3 vs. MOTU 896HD... Do they both sound the same?

I was talking to my Sweetwater rep the other day and was asked whether I should get the the MOTU 828 mk3 or the new Presonus StudioProject and he said:

"The 896HD will bury any of the other units you mention for clock, converter and analog quality."

So I was wondering if anyone on the forum has used both the MOTU 828 mk3 and the MOTU 896HD and if the 896HD is that much better. :D
