Reverse Audio not showing up in DP Plug-ins
Hello,
I realized that under the Audio Menu then Audio Plug-ins, the Reverse feature is not showing up. I've used this before to reverse audio but not recently and I'm pretty sure that is where it was before. I looked in the Library/Audio/Plugins/MAS folder on my hd and both Reverse.bundle and InvertPhase.bundle are there in the list but not showing up in DP. I don't know if this is where they are supposed to be or not but I figured I'd include it. Also, they are the only two items in that folder who's icon looks like a white lego.......everything else is a plug inside of a black box.
Does anyone know how I can get these working again? (reverse audio in particular)
Oh and I'm using DP 5.13 on a Mac Pro (leopard 10.5.1)
Thanks,
- Sarah

Re: Reverse Audio not showing up in DP Plug-ins
Hi Sarah,
Check your plug ins folder to make sure the plug is in there. Usually the System disk Library>Audio>Plug Ins>MAS>Reverse.bundle.
If it isn't loading (but is there) you might have to move it out of that folder, start and then quit DP, move it back into the folder and start DP to re-examine and 'bless' the plug.

Missing plug ins
You can also try:
Users/user name/Library/Preferences/Digital Performer/Audio Unit Info Cache.
Trash the AU Info Cache, don't have to empty the trash for it to work, then when you start up DP it forces the program to re-examine and test all the AU plugs. It's worked for me when some Audio Damage AU plugs weren't showing up. Not sure about the MAS plugs but you can't hurt anything.
There's also a Preferences file in that same folder, could try trashing that if the 1st idea doesn't work.
Oh, and 3 Hail Mary's. Oops, forgot it's Lent, make it 10.
