Getting rid of beat detection

Post by Twinner »

Is there any way to remove beat information from a file once it's been processed? Somehow it keeps sneaking in even though I've got automatic detection off?

Select all, go to the Wave editor, from the beats mini menu select Delete Beats in Selection. Then go to the main preferences menu and Select: General>Background Processing>Never look for Beats in Audio Files Automatically. Also Deselect the two items related to Automatic beat and tempo Analysis.
