I for one am totally impressed. It is a Wonderful addition to my studio. The built in effects are great. I can now track vocals with a touch of reverb and not worry about latency. I could not be happier with the purchase.

The manual says that you can daisy chain to any MOTU device or otherwise.

Hi, I'm thinking of getting one of these too, well, I will be getting one of these soon! How's about the limiter when tracking vocals? Have you given it a good workout? I use Logic 8 also, can the Motu FX be used as plugins within Logic? So, if I like the reverb I have been using to track vocals with, can it be applied to the track in Logic? I've had an 828MKII for a while. Possibly one of the best purchases I ever made for my setup, like the MKIII will be no doubt. Cheers. :)

Initial 5min impression - it kinda sounds like the Ultralite which imo sounds thin. Much prefer how the 8pre sounds.

Pity because the mk3 is a great value.
I may have one for sale shortly if anyone is interested.
