Interesting tidbit....

I asked my audio professor (who has been a DP beta tester for years) if he was going to be upgrading our lab to DP6 and he hadn't even heard about the update and claims that there isn't even any news about it on the beta testers' forum....

I try to read most of your posts here, always very informative - and now I got to hear some of your music/recordings, thanks.
I thought everyone was backbeat oriented (well not really but...), so I was happily surprised.

So, makes me want to post my work-in-progress things here as well.

Tobias, that was so good that when I was interrupted in the middle of it, I rewound and continued afterward. Didn't want to miss a note! (loved the "2nd ending") Thanks for that.

If he has access to the beta testers' forum he is under a non-disclosure aggrement and is problably just making a little fun of you.. in a true beta tester fashion

You could be certain that DP6 is in the hand of selected testers if it to be out for Q1.

That is actually entirely possible. He does joke around a lot.

The latinas or DP6?

The new stuff in DP6 looks so good that I may be a Bata tester and get it before I get feed back from every one as to how well it works.

If the Hipster truly does have a closet full of 'em, he's probably putting them through their paces and not just beta testing them, but alpha, beta, gamma... all the way to omega testing the lovelies. :D

I remember several years ago when a DP update - I forget which one, but I think is was in the threes - was announced for Q1 and it didn't show up for quite a while after that, like MONTHS later. Since there's been no word since NAMM, I say June or July at the earliest. I'm not complaining, though - it'll be ready when it's ready.

That's because we are the beta testers.
