I just got an alert that my credit card was charged from Sweetwater. That means that my 828MK3 and my 8Pre are on their way.

Mac Pro 2.8 GHz 8 Core 10GB Ram - Imac 2.8 GHz 24in. 4GB Ram - MAC OS X 10.5.2 - Logic 8.0.2 - MOTU 828MK3 & 8Pre - Apogee Duet -Glyph 400GB HD - Euphonix MC Control - UA Twin-Finity Pre - Neuman TLM-103, Ultrasone Proline 750 Headphones, Ozone 3 for mastering, Various synths and plugs.
i got mine this wed march 5th from guitar center. i just hooked it up last night, although i didnt get to play around with it much yet. but it is racked and ready to go. i did install it, just havnt used it yet.
strange issue i was having with it was: i saw that the audio and MIDI were going into the unit but by default all the out buses were set to mute.
so i had to switch those before i heard the audio (line in guitar) in the main outs/phones. Im still not hearing the vsti piano though thru the phones. cubase does see the keys pressed.
now i am having an issue where im able to record audio and MIDI but cant hear it playback.
im using windows xp by the way, and cubase 3. i still need to mess around with the set up but i was only testing it last night for a couple of minutes after i installed and set it up to my other gear.
