I'm running DP 5.12 on my MacBook pro, with samples on an external drive. I use the 818 mkII as my audio interface. It seems to be having some kind of problems because DP has crashed a number of times within just an hour.
When I've used the same interface on my G5 desktop I've had all kinds of issues too, the audio stalls, I can't bounce to disk properly. I don't know if these problems are related or if it is the 828 causing it, but my laptop has been running with no problems when I use an mbox (..!). Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks!

828 mkII makes DP crash

Hi
Try first to reset your 828 to Factory Default Settings.
Here is some 828MkII reset info:

Check also your FireWire or USB cables that are connected to 828. Broken cable can cause troubles.
If that doesn't work you might have to take it to a repair shop.
