Hd 192 Cracks & Pops

I have an hd192 interface on a Mac G5 power pc. I have been having a problem with cracks and pops in the audio on the main output chanel of the system.

It is intermittent and not related to anything specific.

Is this an issue with this unit? A technician at an audio company says that the 192s have this problem and Motu won't fix it. All they are offering me is a replacement for the $79 fee. I have already sent one unit in because of the notorious fan noise on start up. Now, this unit has audio cracks and pops.

Anyone with any ideas of how to fix this issue?

I've never heard that.

Have you tried a larger buffer size?

try moving the hd192's cable into a different input on your card.
