Is MOTU going to reveal new products?

Post by estudios.sdb »

I was wondering if MOTU will make a new Traveler, an updated one. Do you think this will happen? It could be MOTU Traveler mkII.

And about other products, now that they have introduced 828 mkIII do you think they'll upgrade other hardware products?

Just been wondering about this. What are your espectations in possibly new MOTU hardware? What would you like to see?
Mac Pro 2.66 + Mac OS X 10.4.11 + DP 5.13 + Universal Audio UAD-1e + APOGEE Ensemble + MOTU Traveler

Let me gaze into my crystal ball....

I see something. It isn't clear yet. Wait, it looks like a number. The number 6. I see the letter D, the letter P, the number six, the letter Q, and the number 1. I am not sure what this means, but it is all I get from the crystal ball.

I'm hearing rumors of a new MOTU ride-on lawn mower. :)

I'm sure they have their hands full. But maybe something portable and 1 channel high end pre, tube or otherwise, would put them higher on the hardware list.
Success is just one more plugin away! And happiness is as close as your next upgrade.

 maybe with the recent porn and spam bout we have had, we are being "tested" by motu as they are considering diversifying into adult toys as well as the current toys (daw/gear) for adults who can't grow up. 8)

But an ethno update would be quite tempting if I could request.....
Macbook pro, 3 gigs of ram, osx 10.62, Dp 5.13, Live 8.1.2, Reason 4, Tc powercore Virus, Albino 3.02, proper ergonomic sitting posture, plenty of coffee (french press only with a pinch of cardamon added)
My dp inspired music.....

My spirit guide, who goes by the name Jack Daniels, said "have thy credit card ready, have thy serial number handy, and be prepared each day to click"

I'm not positive what old jack means by all this, but he also kept repeating "number 6, number 6, number 6...."

Either Old Jack's Old Nick, or MOTU's got something to do with 6 in the wings.
Hmm... credit card, eh?

I might have to run this through my MonkeyLabs 8bit BS Detector•„• :?

Monkey Man might get DP6 for free, but only because he is the inventor of music and the inventor of computers. Alas, the rest of us will have to pay for our upgrades as we are but mere mortals.

Motu the number of the beast.
Old Jack was quite specific. He said "do not confuse it with 666, nor with the user 666 who has the 666 avatar on Unicornation. Rather, it is the number 6 by itself along with the letters D and P."

But I sold my crystal ball to Mad Boy, so I am unable to get any further info. 8)

DP and MOTU are divine. Jack said anything on Windows is evil, so you have nothing to worry about unless you install Parallels and start running Sonar.
