Apparently that's not correct. DP 5.13 is the most recent version currently appearing in their downloads list.

Shooshie
I'm talking about OS X 10.5.2 not DP. Sorry for the confusion.

Quick, non-rigorous test:

1. I installed 10.5.2 on my Mac Book Pro 2.33 GHz without any problems (by downloading the installer rather than using Software Update).

2. I opened a project in DP 5.13 with just three mono audio tracks. DP launched and played back the project with no problems.

Right now I'm not doing any critical work on the MBP, so I don't mind being an early adopter of new updates.

I'm glad Apple gave us the option to get rid of that stupid transparent menu bar, made the menus less translucent, and now provides the list view option for folders in the dock, like in Tiger - I'm not a fan of Stacks.

About friggin' time. It hasn't bothered me personally because I use a black&white photo as my desktop background, but that's just a coincidence. It was a disgrace to apple's good name in interface design to do the transparancy thingy. So was the 3D dock, but I have it setup with Leopard's 2D dock, which is far-and-away the cleanest, most readable dock they've made, so I don't have a big gripe there.

I had used a little app I found online to make the menubar opaque... no longer needed!

The new Dock behaviors are very nice. 5.2 seems to be working fine on my PPC, but I don't use it for DP/Audio work, just for everything else!

Question:

Has anyone found the need to still use Combo Updates rather than OSX Software Update (Delta)?
