i have motu 828 mk II set up with logic 6.4 and mac g5. it was all fine until i came to reconect it all after I had for some reason disconnected it all.

It now will not play my logic songs. And I can only hear clicks and beepy noises when i try and run a song file... can anyone help as I don't know what the problem is?

Will need a lot more info to help you out.

How are your speakers connected? Are you sure everything is wired correctly? Where are the beeping and clicking noises coming from?

i guess you have switched your 828 on after switching your computer on. just swap the order of turning your devices on, means 828 first then your computer. under some cercumstances i get the same results as you described. just try it and let us know if it helps or not.

sounds like incorrect sample rate...try changing the sample rate then putting it back to the original value.

I started getting this same problem when I put a Western Digital MyBook on the firewire chain, try disconnecting you firewire drives and see what happens. Then add them back one at a time and see if you have a drive thats screwing your 828 up.
