Don't anyone just jump up and offer any help, cause I am rockin' now. Frustration level just got me, I guess.
Later...
Hey ya'll. I'm a guitar player/singer and a "noob" when it comes to home recording. I do not understand the overall "big picture" of how things work together. When I fire up Cubase 3sx and load the demo songs supplied, everything sounds great. When I try to make something happen on my own... nada! Both guitar and mic volume (gain?) is so weak that I can't record. Guitar works great with my amp(s) and so does the mic. Hmmm... see what I mean?
So, are there any "stickies" in this forum that explain real basic stuff, related to getting the 828mkii and Cubase to going?
I have yet to hear a peep from my microKorg MIDI controller.
Please point me in a direction so I can get up-to-speed and ask intelligent questions! (Is this even possible?) LOL!
