Converter matchup
As anyone did an A/B test between apogee and RME converters? Let's say between a Rosetta or AD16 and a Fireface 800 ...

The Fireface800 is a dang good converter, better than most. But I don't feel it's in the same class as Apogee. The RME is a more neutral type of converter where Apogee has more of an analog tonality to it. With that said, you an absolutely get a Fireface800 and know you're getting a seriously good sounding product.
