adding current machines to audio/MIDI setup

Post by aizo »

i was wondering if there was a place i could download profiles to put into audio/MIDI setup. basically i have a roland mc909 and in the model selection of roland...it only goes up to the mc505

if there was such a thing....of course i would need to know where you put such a thing.

tanx!!!!

In addition to audiomidi.plists in the Preferences folder, there is a UNIX Executable file included with the AudioMIDI Package Contents.

To see all the contents associated with an app, Control-Click and hold on the app icon and choose "Show Package Contents".

Since no two systems are identical, it's sort of tricky to imagine that there'd be a database of standard or presumed AudioMIDI setups.

But something just ocurred to me-- maybe all you want is the image of the actual MC909 to appear in AudioMIDI?

If so, click this link:

http://www.muziekmetropool.nl/foto/prod ... 909(1).jpg

(For some reason, this link isn't displaying properly-- you may have to copy-paste it into your url window.

If you want a smaller one, try this:

http://www.magicaudio.com/ecatalog/mc909.jpg

First drag it from your Browser window to the desktop. Then, drag that pic into the following location:

Library>Audio>MIDI Devices>Generic>Images

That's it, really. Just name the device and make your preferred MIDI settings.

You might need a program/app such as CherryPicker.

There is a bit of a discussion about this topic here:
