TDIF Sync Problems

Post by mccollumab »

I know this is probably old news, but I haven't found the solution yet. I have a 2408 MkI with PCI-324 card installed in an Intel MB D865. I have a Panasonic DA-7 digital mixer connected to the MOTU 2408 via TDIF and a Behringer ADA8000 via ADAT. I have the proper coxial cable connected between the mixer and interface for WC. The mixer is the master clock. The MOTU gives a sync light depending on what sample rate is selected. However, when a track is armed for recording I get a pulsing signal on all TDIF channels. I even tried disconnecting from the mixer and only connect to the ADA8000 using ADAT sync and got the same results. Is their anyone that has experienced this and what was your solution, other scrapping the whole setup?

Thanks,
Tony :(
